Winter 2028 · the final season

One more Lapland winter.

Snowmobiling across frozen lakes, travelling through the woods with the huskies, and the Northern Lights above your head. In 2028, we’ll be organising our winter weeks for the last time.

Our farewell

After 2028, we will stop organising the winter weeks.

For years, we have been taking our winter guests on unforgettable adventures through the heart of Lapland. On snowmobiles, we travelled through endless, snow-covered forests and across vast frozen lakes. Together, we discovered the magic of winter on husky treks, snowshoe walks and encounters with the Sámi and their reindeer.

Every time, it was a special experience to see just how excited people were to be able to witness the magical Northern Lights with their own eyes. We always said that this was ‘the icing on the cake’ of their winter adventure.

Fortunately, we’re still in great shape ourselves, both physically and mentally. Yet we feel that a new phase in our lives is beginning – a time when we not only want to let others enjoy Lapland, but also want to take more time ourselves to experience all the beauty of our unique corner of the world. Snowmobiling is a big hobby of ours and we’re looking forward to heading out together.

That’s why the winter of 2027/2028 will be our very last winter season. Do you dream of experiencing Lapland in winter? Then this is your last chance to do so with us!

Kind regards,
Frans & Paula

A winter’s day

From breakfast to the Northern Lights.

Morning

Assembly and instructions

After a hearty Swedish breakfast, we’ll try on the overalls, boots and helmet. Then we’ll explain how the snowmobile works.

On the way

Into the wilderness

Accompanied by a guide, you’ll drive through snow-covered forests and across frozen lakes and rivers, where normally only reindeer and moose are found. Depending on the weather and the group, the journey covers between 50 and 120 km.

Lunch

Outside by the fire

We’ll have lunch on the way by a crackling wood fire, with Lappish coffee or a cup of hot tea.

Evening

Jacuzzi and the Northern Lights

Back home, a Swedish meal awaits, featuring elk, reindeer or wild salmon. To round off the day, enjoy the soothing warmth of the jacuzzi and, with a bit of luck, the Northern Lights overhead.
