Welcome
We are Frans and Paula. We swapped Limburg for Tväråträsk, a village of about fifty people in the middle of the wilderness. Here, we learnt to fish, make a fire and listen to the silence. Now we’re sharing this place with you.
Accommodation
Jukta Lodge
Newly built in the Juktadal valley, on a hill above Lake Fjosoken. A comfortable, fully equipped lodge: your own base in the wilderness.

Independent stay. You’ll be cooking for yourself and planning your own days. Meals and activities are not included.
The water
No pressure from other anglers, no crowds on the banks. Three stretches of water, each with its own character.
Juktån
A fly-fishing paradise 4 km from the lodge. Catch and release on the fly-fishing stretch.
Fjosoken
The lake near the Lodge, 25 km long and 500 metres wide. Teeming with trout, grayling, pike and perch.
Atjièke
One of the mountain lakes not far from the Lodge. A 3km walk uphill is rewarded with trout and Arctic char.

Winter 2028 · the final season
One more winter.
For years, we’ve been taking our guests on snowmobile trips through snow-covered forests and across frozen lakes. After the 2028 season, we’ll be stopping our winter tours. Would you like to experience it with us one last time?

Our story
Everything we know, we learnt from Tore.
Our neighbour Tore taught us how to walk through the marshes, how to tell which water is drinkable, and how to light a fire when the wood is wet. He taught us where to find fish and the different ways to cook them. When he passed away in 2012, we took over his house and named it Tores; ever since, we’ve been putting his lessons into practice.
